Yes, we also shoot abroad. Our base is the Netherlands, where we have our own crews, location network and permit experience.

A production service company runs the shoot on the ground for a foreign production company or agency. In the Netherlands, We Are Will arranges crew, locations, film permits, casting, equipment, transport, accommodation and security, so the visiting director and agency can focus on the creative work.

We Are Will services commercial shoots across the Netherlands for international agencies and production companies. Recent service productions include Nivea for Black Pearl Film, Betty Barclay for Palladium Film and Mercado Livre with Dogs Can Fly. We can also provide a Dutch or international director, or full post-production.

Yes. Besides service production we do commercial production, from script and director to shoot and final grade.

Productions with We Are Will range from about EUR 10,000 for a compact one day shoot to several hundred thousand euros, or even over a million euros, for large commercials that run several days. Plenty of shoots sit in between, at around EUR 50,000 to 70,000, depending on what the shoot needs. The budget depends on crew size, shoot days, locations, permits, casting and post-production. We scale every crew to the project, from about 5 people for a small shoot to more than 100 for large commercials. Shoots run from a single day to many weeks.

The Netherlands Film Production Incentive gives a cash rebate to qualifying feature films, documentaries, animation and series. Commercials do not qualify. We can tell you quickly whether your project does.

Yes. Filming in public space in Amsterdam needs permission from the municipality, and bigger shoots also need parking and traffic arrangements. Plan for at least 10 working days. We apply for film permits, parking and drone clearances for our clients and talk to residents and location owners.

Yes, with a licensed pilot and the right airspace clearance. Large parts of the Randstad sit in controlled airspace around Schiphol and Rotterdam airports, so plan drone shots early. We arrange the pilot and the paperwork.

For long days, May to August. Around the end of June, Amsterdam has almost 17 hours of daylight; in December less than 8. Autumn and winter suit moody, overcast looks, and the light is soft for most of the year.

Yes. English is the working language on all our international shoots, and almost everyone in the Netherlands speaks it well.

That depends on permits, locations and casting. A simple shoot can be ready in days; large productions with many locations need more time. Tell us your date and we will tell you honestly whether it works.

Yes. We keep a database of shooting locations across the Netherlands and have a direct line with owners in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and beyond. For a specific brief we scout and send photos, and we handle permits and owner agreements.

Yes. We produce photo shoots for international brands and agencies, on their own or alongside a film shoot, as we did for PUMA and Dior. We provide crew, studio or location, permits, casting and logistics.
